Krakow is a great city to visit, which attracts lots of tourists every year.
Here is a recommended travel itinerary for a 3-4 day long weekend break in Krakow Poland.
Krakow Castle
You cannot visit Krakow without making a trip south of the main square to see the old Wawel castle.
You can walk around the outside of the castle for free, or pay to go inside and see the exhibitions. Sometimes tickets can sell out quick so we would recommend that you visit early in the morning if you want to make the most of it.
Main square (old town)
The huge main square is another key tourist attraction that you would be mad to miss. And to be honest, it would be hard to miss! It is the centre point of the city, and it is likely that you will be staying near there.
There are lots of really cool backstreets leading away from the old town, so you can easily spend an afternoon wandering around. Lots of churches, bars, and old architecture.
The cloth hall
In the middle of the main square is the old cloth hall. It used to be used for traders to sell their clothes, but now it is just selling tourist gifts.
It gets busy, and can feel crowded. But take the 5-10 minutes it takes to explore it.
Kazimierz
South west of the old town is the old Jewish district. It has a different vibe than old town and although its a 15 min walk away you have to go and see it.
At night time there is a buzzing and cool pub atmosphere, it is a great place to have a few drinks.
